This is a weird book, and I really enjoyed it. I did have to pause to process a particularly traumatic scene, but I wouldn’t say it was an unnecessary scene. It is dark, primal, and a strange insight into the role of women, female rage, and the power to overcome what is expected of us. I would say this is a feminist book, but it’s a feminist take you have not read before.

Horrific and feral. Absolutely loved it. Felt like a book ripped straight from my performance art classes in uni - and even referenced artists I studied! Feminist, artsy, and anti-MLM.

, not really into the cat abuse i was listening to at the 1hr mark either

love female werewolves though &the themes of motherhood, alienation & how society others you; would like to pick it back up again, probably not in audiobook form though so i can more easily bypass the cruelty i dont want to see
