I really enjoyed this instalment in the Discworld annals - definitely one of my favourites.

It will not surprise anyone that I thought this book was great! Absolutely love Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg and Magrat Garlick plays the role of, well, normal person as a contrast really well. I love all the parody of them abroad in foreign lands (I'm very much familiar with that exact group of English travellers that thinks yelling louder makes you more comprehensible) and all of the weird stuff with fairytales and the power of the narrative is also really awesome. Another great instalment in the Discworld!

Love Pratchett books and this one was great too. Brilliantly funny as always and excellently written. I continue to be flummoxed by Pratchett’s aversion to chapters but delighted by his love of footnotes.
