Two Truths and a Lie was a fun Ya thriller! It did take me a few chapters to get into the book but once the action started I started to get into it. The characters are interesting and entertaining. I did enjoy the winter setting; it does add to the adventure and thrill! The pace is a little slow in the beginning but once it starts the pace is pretty much non-stop! Overall it was a fast read but interesting and entertaining!

Type of read: Commuter Read.
What made me pick it up: I was searching through audiobooks available now on my library app and I needed something to listen to while I did yard work.
Overall rating: Slightly predictable, a little cheesy, but a pretty good read. I enjoyed the classic thriller aspect of 'Two Truths and a Lie.' It definitely seemed like Henry threw all their favorite parts of horror/thriller books and movies into the book to create almost an amalgamation of an up-to-date thriller. As a former theatre kid, I enjoyed this book's theatre aspect; however; it definitely made me feel like I was reading a One Act script. It just seemed like the sort of scratch-the-surface, not-too-deep tale that could be easily performed by an audience with some pretty decent fourth-wall breaks. I'd recommend 'Two Truths and a Lie' to anyone looking for a quick, easy read that doesn't keep them guessing. Not mad that it was my first book of 2023.
