I loved seeing Silvermist overcome the influence of superstitious fairies around her and her conclusion that whether luck is real or not doesn't matter, it's what you believe. The actions of other fairies were believable even if they were in the wrong.
Silvermist is just the coolest and most beautiful fairy of all.

these disney fairy books are my guilty pleasure. such quick, fun reads that remind me of my childhood. definitely a feel-good type story. <3
I was actually quite surprised by this for the different focus (more on character than on plot), but I suppose it makes sense with a different author. Still, I liked the change in focus because Silvermist is one of the nicest fairies in Pixie Hollow and I like her. :-)
Of course, it also teaches an important lesson to children about belief and having the right mindset.
