Exactly the kind of mindless horror book i’d like to read. I like the twist in the ending! Am forgiving to the unrealistic aspects since the premise of this is already more theatrical horror style

Some rich white couple killed an immigrant woman, kidnapped her child and then pretended that child was boy until some mid twenties recovering drug addict nanny and her gardener boyfriend figured it out. There was also a ghost/spirt involved.

That ending was wild! I didn't even see any of it coming and to top it off I was crying by the last page!

This book is not one I would typically read but I am happy I did.

Fun read, no real holes or problems. I just don’t usually find myself reading books like this. I really, really did not see what was coming, which made it fun.

Took so long because I lost the book for months and months - found under the armoire by chance. I am definitely interested in looking into Rekulak’s other books.
