I really enjoyed this book! It was inventive and interesting--I had a hard time putting it down. I find it hard to be surprised by plot twists because I read so often, but Winters got me with not one but two plot twists, much to my delight. The character development was excellent and I enjoyed the way she shifted the narrative to give us different insights in the story. Even the side characters felt nuanced to me.
The one downside to this is some grammar issues I couldn't ignore. Notably, Winters often uses "which" when she should use "that."

Interesting world, glorifies possessive and violent men. No character growth, the same things keep happening with the same or similar results each time. Wanted to finish it but had to listen at 1.5x speed to make it through.
