I have read several books that are based on the reality dating plot and was kind of disappointed that this one was too. With that being said, I mostly enjoyed this book. I appreciate the way the plot was developed and the author showed behind the scenes workings. I really think that that added a really important dimension to the story. Plus, I was thrilled with one decision the main character made at the end of the book. That made a difference. Overall, this was an enjoyable read. 3.5 stars.

This story was actually pretty cute. A story written by an LDS author that I've NEVER seen before! Very clever idea. There were some points that I felt were cheesy, especially when it came to church stuff. and, **SPOILER ALERT!!!!** I felt his Baptism was WAY too fast. Hahaha but then again, it's a book so I can't really judge too much there. All in all, it was a cute story, and I loved the little moments she was able to testify of things or talk about things... very brave young lady!

Very cute story :)

This one was hilarious. I seriously was laughing the entire time. LDS fiction at its best.

Will be interested in reading more by this author.

I vacillated between two and three stars for this rating. This book was just okay for me.

The Bachelor and Bachelorette is a guilty pleasure for me. My husband and I usually like to hate on the same people and cheer on those who are nice.

Seems like I've read several books recently centered around reality dating shows (not that I actually watch such shows on TV). I think this is one of my favorite books in that category -- a small-town LDS girl caught up in the celebrity drama. While things were all tied up neatly (and probably not very realistically) at the end (not that I mind -- I love happy endings!), I really liked the way the main character had to stick up for her beliefs and values.

I read this in a day. It's not a literary masterpiece, but I was sucked in enough to keep going. I even teared up a little. If you like cheesy Mormon romance, this is a fantastic choice! I happen to be quite a fan :)

This is a cute and clean book about a Mormon girl who participates in a Bachelor- type reality show. I thought it would be a fun read but I ended up liking it quite a bit more than I expected to. It wasn't as predictable as I expected and I always like to root for strong characters who stand their moral ground. If you are a Bachelor fan I think you'd enjoy this book :)
