Parece que agora sempre que dou 5⭐️ vem outro livro de 5⭐️, logo em seguida e eu claro que estou a adorar 😂.
Adorei seguir estas personagens e toda a emoção dos jogos da fome e conhecer este mundo. 
Notei algumas parecenças entre este livro na parte inicial no sentido de serem personagens que vem de um meio pobre para uma competição num ambiente de riqueza (ou neste caso de riqueza no início).
Fiquei desejosa de ler a continuação e ter mais tempo com estas personagens que sinto que passou demasiado rápido.

Well, this was just as good on a second reading so many years later. I'm quite surprised because I feared I wouldn't enjoy it quite as much now I was more grown-up, but I just couldn't stop listening to it. The audiobook narrated by Tatiana Maslany is amazing, by the way: she did such a fantastic job bringing Katniss to life! Her singing in *that* scene actually made me tear up.

There was a lot more nuance to the characters and the worldbuilding than I remembered, and the social justice element was really evident - maybe even a bit too much at times but hey, it still works considering it's a YA novel. I'll continue my re-read with the next book in the series, which I'm even more curious to revisit since I remember very little about it.

Rereading this series to read the newest book (2020) only to announce they’re adding a fourth in 2025! I forget how much i enjoyed this series as a kid, and it still holds up today. I still critique the use of the love triangle, but i understand why it’s included. Overall still a great, enjoyable read.

Just completed my third time reading, and my first time using the audiobook, and I’m still filled with such deep love for this story. I enjoy this book everytime and it never gets old. It’s truly a lasting, all-time favorite.
