Uggghhhhhh...ANOTHER story about a woman finding fulfillment through motherhood. Y'know, women are more complex than that.
I guess she didn't really care that her husband disappeared, or that she now has to live with the mob watching her every move? She only cares that she finally bonds with her stepdaughter. Cool.
Good writing. Interesting characters. Nice plot unfolding. But holy schnikeys can we have stories about women who don't care about being mothers, please?
