Scars to Your Beautiful is a wonderful anthology in dedication to the hurt so many of us go through. I had to skip the first story because the characters names were so far out there, it made the reading slow and clunky. From the second story on, the book was wonderful. Cut was heartbreaking but so true of what millions of people go through to feel relief and a sense of control in their lives. Oil and Water gave us a wonderfully strong heroine. The Scars Within Us told of two sets of brave brothers and sisters, who are dealing with scars and disorders, and the loving strength of a brother. I liked how Beautifully Flawed worked out the pain from the past to be able to move forward, a good enemies to lovers situation. My heart broke for Lucy and her brother Colt in Lucy, I enjoyed how the author brought the readers back in time and then to the present. Lastly was Taming the Flame. Harper had been a victim for a long time and went to the extreme in reaction, and now has to learn to tame herself down.
This collection was a good sampling of each of the author's work, and I appreciated that they came together to write such encouraging stories in such a wide variety of issues that face society today.

What an inspiring collection, some will break your heart. Most of theses authors I've read before so I knew I wouldn't be disappointed.
Stories of physical and mental scarring often caused by bullying or violent episodes in their past. The agony these souls go through, cutting, eating disorders, shutting themselves off from society.
Each and every story in this collection grabbed me, I was so invested in all the characters. Well done to all the authors, it's a fantastic set of books you put together.
