I have never rolled my eyes so much while listening to a book. This isn't a life-altering read but fun. Our heroine just can't make up her mind and when she finally seems to decide what she wants, she seems to still be hanging on to her old boyfriend...why because he's reliable, familiar, and adores her. There are times she really gets on my last nerve but still I can't "put the book down". (I'm actually listening to it).
I enjoyed the book. Not sure if I was supposed to but I did. I've actually finished the second and I'm starting the 3rd) Gotta see how it all ends.

giving it 4.75 because i can’t bear to allow this on my 5⭐️ list for the year. these books suck. i love them so much.

Just finished!
Easy read but lacking some desired details. I didn’t understand all of the setting specially when it came to whether it is fairly modern day or not. I’m definitely someone who likes to imagine things as I read so having modern pieces coupled with an idea of Bridgerton visuals in my mind was a little confusing.
Definitely shocked that the end was a little bit of a cliffhanger ( without the intensity).
I do want to continue to see what happens so on the book 2.

This was a pretty basic YA dystopian, but I thought it was a good time. It’s basically The Bachelor set in a dystopian world. It’s also kind of giving Cinderella vibes. The FMC is named “America” and is as annoying as her name is, but I’m hooked into the story and I want to find out what happens. There’s also a love triangle and I have some theories about it and would love to see if I’m right. Definitely reading the next book!

I've grown to hate Aspen. #princemaxonalltheway

At least he ASKS before kissing America, unlike Aspen when he goes to her room
