Love it although sex scenes were placed weird, dont know how to explain it but they seemed off. Sutton it’s the kinda girl any woman can relate and Roark, damn! That guy had some shit on his soul. Love the end❤️
Now all I wanna do is read the next book. I’m wanting Rath’s book so bad! This ex of his sounds an interesting story!

Ok MQ, you got me again. Are the names ridiculous? Yes. Is this book too long? Kinda. Did I love Sutton Grace Green (yeah, that’s her name)? Absolutely. Perfect heroine, funny and smart and handled everything so well, excepting a certain restaurant fiasco that annoyed the crap out of me. Roark MCCOOL (smh) was adorable, a little stupid, but he more then made up for it in the end. Exactly what you would expect from the romcom queen, and I definitely recommend it.

Wonderful

I love all of Meghan Quinn's books. She has a way about her of making you fall for her characters. I love Sutton. She reminds me of a person I would associate with. And Roark is such a complex character while still being completely appealing. The book had every box checked in what you would like from a story. Loved it

Roark is Irish Goodness

Oh Roark! What a guy he turned out to be. Learning his terrible childhood gives answers to his drinking and fighting ways. Then enters Sutton, the good girl, to turn his world upside down. There was a lot of back and forth between them and although it did drag on a bit I still enjoyed this book. The text messages were funny as always and the books as a whole has good humor while carrying it's love obstacles.

I so wish you could see the value in us being together.

This is definitely my favourite book in the series - and I think it's because I just love seeing a self-confessed bad boy brought to their knees by the perfect woman. Roark is a man who desperately needs the loving of a good woman - and Sutton is the woman for him. The character development in this story is on point and the laughs are there as well. A beautiful story and a great addition to this series.

Wish we could rate half stars on this platform. I give this book 3.5 stars.

What I loved: Humor! Roarke & Sutton shared so many funny interactions with their friends and I would have loved more of these scenes! I'm just gonna say now that I need Maggie's story. She was a fantastic character!
I also loved how Roarke's friends (and Sutton) did their best to help Roarke realize that he was capable of loving, long-term relationships.

What I struggled with: Without names at the top of each chapter, there were times I wouldn't have noticed the difference in point of view. The dialogue came across a little too perfect at times, especially since our hero is described as Irish and our heroine is a Texan with a " sweet southern accent".

Still a fun read and I plan to pick up more books by the author.

Absolutely loved...now tied with The Mother Road as my favorite Meghan Quinn book

This book was everything I was looking for....a great story, a broken hero and a heroine who could banter with the best of them. I laughed till I cried... one of the funniest books I’ve read since The Mother Road...and I’ve probably read 200 books since then. I can’t recommend this book enough. 5 fookin stars!
