The Government does Shyamalan’s The Village. Characters are more fun in the show, dying to know how the show will go and how well it’ll be adapted going forward, like foundation wasn’t toooooooo crazy different in the first season, then they butchered the second, so I will keep reading but not happily lol BUT people say Shift is their favorite in the series, maybe should’ve just started there lowkey
This trilogy was fun to read and definitely strange. It feels very YA and yet there are elements that you wouldn’t find in YA books. I do really enjoy the strong female lead

A really cool story, riveting pace, had some problems but it is rare sci-fi that doesn't. Strong, competent female ENGINEER lead was a nice change. :)
