It’s not fully fair because I really love the TV show and reading it after definitely skews my viewpoint. I actually think the characters in the show are more fleshed out than in the book, but it was interesting to read their “book origin” stories. The dystopian world is super interesting to me.

Actually a pretty fun book. It took me forever to get through, but once I got to the part where
Juliet was on her own, finding the other silo and stuff
, it was a lot more interesting. I had a hard time staying invested in the silo politics, but the
interconnected system of corruption
was a lot more interesting. I also love books that have characters with a high technical knowledge. It reminds me of Dr. Stone, watching Juliet and other characters from Mechanical piecing things together in their mind and making do with scraps. Just fun.
