A compelling mystery. We learn, very gradually, the truth about this strange future society at the same pace, and with the same horrified fascination, as its inhabitants. Much of the appeal is anthropological; the author has constructed his silo world with loving care and a real feel for the emotions that its customs and folkways evoke for the inhabitants. Around the middle of book three it became impossible for me to put it down. I'll be eagerly awaiting more from this author, and am buying his previous series immediately.

I love books and movies about dystopian future societies. This book is on par with 1984 and Brave New World. I would definitely want to see the movie, if they were to make one.
Craftily written to keep the reader as oblivious as the characters in the book, and the reveals are never disappointing. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to fall the government and be as awesome as the brave characters in this book.

A great, grown-up, dystopian story. It's dark but very readable. Definitely no love triangles here!

After watching the first season of Silo on Apple TV I soon realized this was first a book series and I loved the show so much I just had to know what was going to happen next and could not wait for season 2. I’m really glad I read this, it was such a good read, tensions were high and I read through all 3 books in a matter of days.
