One of those stories that’s excellent and I’m glad I read it but I wouldn’t like reread it soon. Wasn’t fun is all I’m saying.

Overall a generic story about Captain America but it still has some really good moments like the Death of the Red Skull and Cap's first encounter with Bucky. Not something I'll be loving for a long time but a good read anyways

Capitán América? Reivindicado antes mis ojos después de leer esto. Nunca creí que fuera capaz de capturar mi atención durante toda la historia pero el personaje es realmente interesante y la trama le hace justicia. Me quedé con ganas de leer más de él.

Wowzers. This was the perfect thing to read after seeing Winter Soldier in theaters. Obviously, since this came first, there are some big dfferences - at this point, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is pretty much its own canon - but it shares some of the same big players like Cap, Fury, Winter Soldier, and Sam. Funnily enough, this includes Iron Man, who was wholly absent from the new film. I can't help but imagine how different Cap America 2 would have been with a cameo or two from Downey's Tony Stark to help out Steve Rogers. Really want to read whatever follows this volume, since it ends on a very intriguing note.

The only Cap story which has ever truly hooked me, this was an amazing comic. I can't wait to continue reading on in Vol. 2!
