Great progression of the homunculi plot and insight into the bloody founding of Amestris. Olivier Mira is a fun character; the ruthless principled ones always are.
Still uncertain about Kimblee. So far, he's failed to impart the level of dread or gravitas that the manga seems to want to convey.
But, that being said, this was a tightly constructed installment with good forward momentum and tension-building. Loved the backstory with Hohenheim and Trisha; it was much needed.

It’s still good, but it’s not as it used to be. There’s a lot of stuff happening, but I still feel that we’ve lost some momentum, and it’s a tad boring. Hopefully it will pick itself up again.
But Kimblee, while being whatever he is… I kind of like him. Don’t know what that makes me, but hey.
