I didn't love this book. I think the situation and setting is original; I love that black female gamers and their experience is centered, but as a black female gamer who read this, it kind of felt like I was being preached at. It felt more like a DEI sermon with a side of romance and I think it was lacking in actual courtship. It could've easily been 100 pages shorter.
