This is quite possibly the best series end book I've read. Fonda is a true master of political intrigue and character development. I was sobbing. I am in awe. It's worth every one of the 700 pages.

Jade Legacy was one hell of a chunky book and the story spanned for decades so I got to see almost everyone grow old. There’s a lot of politics and scheming involved, and Fonda Lee wrote that so well. There were so many events that made my jaw (and crochet hook) drop because of how shocking and intense they were.
I love the character so much, especially the Kaul family. They’re there for each other through thick and thin. Sure, they had a lot of fights and misunderstandings, but at the end of the day their love for each other wins. I can’t even choose a favorite character anymore because I’ve become very attached to most of them.
I can’t believe I’m finished with the Green Bone saga. I’m not exaggerating when I say this series changed my life. I’m going to miss the Kaul family and No Peak clan so much.
