I absolutely loved this book. Leo and Abigail made such a sweet couple with their complimenting needs and I found myself rooting for them throughout the entire story. I often find myself at least once in these stories hoping for the downfall of the relationship, but I never felt that way for these two.
The spice and plot was perfectly balanced, even with the intensity of the primal play. Definitely check your trigger warnings before picking this one up, because I don't think this one is for everyone, as is the case with any dark romance. I hadn't read any from Jade West before, but I am looking forward to adding more of her works to my ever-growing TBR.

Ok, so….I knew absolutely nothing about this book going into it. I listened to the audiobook which I thought was well done.
This was a book where at halfway through the book I realized that if I didn’t finish it I would I wouldn’t be upset about it. It was ok. I wasn’t hooked or anything but it kept me interested enough that I decided to finish it. (I also paid $2 for it so that was the main reason I finished it)
It honestly wasn’t as spicy as I though it would be. I mean it definitely had spice but it wasn’t great spice in my opinion. Nothing memorable except the fact that he has piercings.
I don’t know, I just didn’t connect with it. It’s not something I’d want to read again.

The monster and his bait. It was absolute perfection, plain and simple, and had the HEA that I was worried might never come when I first picked up this book.

My first read by Jade West - this reflects on my review a lot because i'm getting familiar with authors writing
At first this is one raw book about desires but when you scratch surface it's telling hero's story and suffering with living and trauma versus person who has made herself detached from surroundings due to being mistress and by that neglected.
Kink in this one is primal to say at least. Heroine doesn't stay in character with being bait but more then satisfying her need about dream that been haunting her.
Interesting all in all. Gonna see further if this has same feel

I don’t know what to say about this book. Was I expecting something amazing? No. Was I still expecting better? Yes. I got this because it was on sale, and I’m not sure I should’ve paid even what I did for it. It would’ve been so much better if it were more drawn out. It felt like the author got bored of the story and just wanted to finish it towards the end. The end was so rushed. Like she tried to tie up all the loose ends quickly. Their relationship was so slow and steady throughout then in last hour and it’s super fast. Wish it was drawn out and it’d be so much better.

I just loved this book! It was definitely dark, but not throw up in my mouth, not finish the book dark.

I was really intruiged by the CNC, but I had to put it down and not because of the kink. It felt like it was trying too hard to be edgy, so much of the messages they sent each other and their inner monologues were just cringe.
