Just finished reading this & it was so cute. First of all, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that cover. It's so beautiful. Whoever decided that cover & whoever created it, deserves an applause. The story is so cute. As a Kpop fan myself, I related to so many fangirling things mentioned in here. And it helped a lot while reading this book. Because I know the Korean words, slangs & other things related to Kpop that was mentioned in the book, it felt so close to the heart. It reminded me of my teenage years when I was a delusional highschool girl too. This book is cliche sometimes, but it's the right amount. And then again, it's YA so it's acceptable. I love Jenny's little friend group. I love how the friends portrays a huge part in this book. It gives me comfort. Jaewoo's mom & sister also so nice. Jenny's uncle & grandma are the best. Although she needs a talk with her mom, she's not bad either.
I love this book. I hope Nathaniel & Sori could've gotten their happy ending, but it's good either way.
This book gave me so much nostalgia.
P.s. I loved it mentioned BTS 's blood sweat & tears as a classic. It was an epic moment 🫡

This book was so cute!! It’s an overall feel good read that makes you want to be 17 again falling in love for the first time. I instantly bought Axie Oh’s other novel as I adored this!

I started out really enjoying this book but it slowly became more unbearable to read. The ending was all over the place and it left so much unresolved. The ending had too much going on while most of the book had too little going on. I also don't really understand the chemistry between the two love interests as I don't see why they would fall for each other. It was an entertaining book sometimes but just at the end I all I wanted to do get this book over with. What I did enjoy was getting to read about how life in Korea is and the friendships Jenny created. Overall two stars as it was okay but would never read it again.

This book gave me all the feels. I don't know about you, but I am addicted to Kdramas/Kpop and this was a perfect Kdrama on paper (with Kpop included) — it was PERFECTION. I was in a reading slump (and only watching Dramas in my spare time), but this book dragged me out. I will absolutely be reading anything Axie Oh writes in the future! The swoon factor is high, and it even has fantastic bromance factors! Funny and so lovely, lovely, lovely (said in Jimin's voice)!
