I read this in English but took a peep at the Spanish alongside it so this review is for the A.S Kline translation. All in all, this is a brief but emotional play examining the way generations of women behave during an era of Spain polluted by religious conservatism. I am quite surprised at the conceptual complexity within this play given its shortness. Overall, effective and eye opening.

The book is heavily anti religion and promotes an agenda, having studied the book for school I can say it is one of the most monotonous I've ever read and constantly holds anti-catholic views.
