I did like the ending but honestly I was bored for most of this book.

My favorite Silvia Moreno-Garcia book so far! I loved EVERYTHING about it!
The writing was amazing, I really enjoy the fairy-tale / mythological vibe of it all: the rules, the symbolism, the cathartic (Tragedy-like) inevitability of it all. I ate it up!!!!
I love our main character Casiopea (honestly I really love all of SMG main female characters). Her own growth and the way the relationship between her and Hun Kamé develops were just great to read! The romance was delicious and heartbreaking in the most perfect way.
I really enjoyed the reflexions on how different classes are treated as well and the parallels Casiopea drew along her adventure. The ending was perfect as well!
Honestly it was such a delightful, lush read! I couldn't get enough of her writing!!!
