Loved all of the books featuring Beezus and Ramona.

The "boing" noise she makes for Susan's curls is hilarious. And her Ramona voice is too precious.

I have always loved Ramona books. Ramona the Pest is a fun read and I would encourage all young readers to read these books.

It's never a good sign when you finish a book and your first thought is, "Thank goodness that's over with!" It's not that this book was bad. It wasn't. It just also wasn't good. None of the characters have anything even approaching a personality and the assorted scenes just aren't that engaging with the exception of Ramona forgetting her first tooth at school moments after dropping out. That one hit hard with my little one. She insists she enjoyed the book, but any time we sat down to read, she wanted to read pretty much anything but this. It just wasn't engaging in the slightest. I could swear I remember loving the Ramona books?

This was the latest audiobook that I listened to with the kids. I think that I loved it even more than they did. Charming! Beverly Cleary has such a knack at getting into the heads of children and making them relatable to everyone. This book was written over 40 years ago, but continues to feel relevant today. Such fun!

Still love this book, I don't know how many years later. Cleary knows how to tell it from the point of view of a new kindergartener, with the emotions, misunderstandings, interactions, and imaginings of this realistic, bright, creative girl.
