This book was very cute.
I liked the building romance and I like how miscommunication was used. I'm not a big fan of the miscommunication trope, but this was an OK way of doing it where it didn't frustrate me.
The characters are believable and so is their growth. They're not perfect by the end of it and that's incredible.
The ending can feel a bit abrupt but I don't find myself wanting another chapter. I liked how it ended.
The deadline was a good plot point that had you feeling alongside them the panic to get things done.
Also having two already out lesbians was incredible. Coming out stories are great but sometimes it can seem like the market is oversaturated with them so this was refreshing and wonderful.

This is my first book from this author and I liked both the plot and the writing style.
I didn't like the scene that obligated the MCs to start working together because it felt forced, and would've loved if their like/dislike "relationship" hadn't begun on the first day of school.
But most of the characters' dialogues sounded natural and there was no rush to get to their first kiss or more (
if you're looking for loads of f/f smut, turn around because this book has literally one scene in a karaoke room and its fade to black
which I enjoyed).

Okay, so I enjoyed this quite a bit. Another NetGally Audiobook that I ran out of time to listen to so I ended up purchasing a copy on audible and then enjoyed it so much that I ordered a physical copy to add to my shelves. (apparently I need to quit it with the netGalley books cause I keep buying them! lol).

So This is an "enemies" to lovers sapphic romance apparently inspired by Gilmore girls (Paris) and although I was annoyed by Rachel in the beginning, I got really into it and really enjoyed it. The audio book is narrated by the author which I forgot until the end where I was like "oh yeah, she did a great job". I dunno, it was cute, I really liked it not sure what else to say.

Didn't finish for now.

I can't bring myself to finish this book.
At the start I really liked it but when they build the relationship I didn't like it at all, i feel it was rushed and then with one of the characters fight with her mom. I just had to put it aside.
I don't know why tbh maybe I'm just picky.
I hope I'll come back and finish it

Tell Me How You Really Feel was SO CUTE!

I adored the depth to the main characters, Sana and Rachel and thoroughly enjoyed all the film references.

The exploration of femininity and the way it challenged Rachel’s negative perceptions of ‘pretty girls’. The parallel between Sana and Helen of Troy throughout the novel was so interesting and added a lot of background depth to her and successfully built up Rachel’s character development as well.

Their relationship made my little heart flutter, it was everything I could have wanted when I was in high school and I honestly love a bit of miscommunication sometimes with the enemies to lovers vibes. It was equal parts playful and angsty and I feel like it struck the perfect balance!

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with the audiobook in exchange for my honest thoughts. The author, Amindah Mae Safi, did a wonderful job reading and I had a great time listening to her characters go about their lives in the way that she intended them to.

I have mixed feelings about this one. I feel like I should have enjoyed the journey more, but what I appreciated the most was the unconventional resolution.
