What a heart wrenching story.  Full of bitter sweetness.  Definitely has content warnings around miscarriage and  child abduction. Very well written and I really like the story, I just need to unpack it a little more.

This book lacked some intensity for me…the subject matter of this book should have lent itself to be pretty intense, and it just didn't give me the feelings I was expecting. Overall, was a good read, I'm glad I read it, but it's not necessarily anything I'd recommend to a friend.
