Need more stars for this book. Blown away by the amazing writing!
I normally have issues with books that change character viewpoints, but the change was done so well in this book that within a couple of words in the new chapter I knew who was talking to me. So smoothly and brilliantly done by the authors.
Great story with believable characters, bit of a fairytale with the poor waitress being whisked off her feet by the rich man.

Born to wealth, William is tired of the socialite bottom feeders who are trying to latch themselves to a rich husband. Always the black sheep in his family he has built his own path opening clubs in New York. Seeing Mila he knows she is different, she seems uncertain about the club she came to with her friend and shies away every time some shows interest.
Mila ran from her home in Tennessee and although she has grown since arriving in New York a year and a half ago she has stayed away from men. When one night with Will takes a turn neither were expecting they begin to build something special. Both are holding secrets though that still need to be revealed. Will the other run once revealed?
Very good story. You are hooked. Will is charismatic and is so in tune with Mila that he becomes an instant hero favorite. Really enjoyed this one.

Not what I was expecting from these authors!
If you have read any of their work, you will know what I mean. This is a straight up contemporary romance. No alpha males or anti-heros, no death of your favorite character, no OMG....no they didn't moments. Just an honest, straight forward romance. It's not a bad thing. It's just not what I want or expect from these authors. On their own or collaborating they are my go to authors when I need to shake things up a bit. So while I enjoyed the read, I need them to get back to what they do best and blow my f'ing mind! I want to scream at my kindle, throw temper tantrums over the plot twist, and have the bejezus scared out of me!!!

This is a much softer romance than Madeline's other work. It's a sweet romance with a small bit of suspense. I enjoyed it.
