What a short yet impactful story! I didn’t know what to expect from this but I’m so glad I picked it up and read it!

I absolutely adored So Late in the Day, so I had high expectations for this one 👏🏼

I didn’t love it as much as I loved the aforementioned story by Claire Keegan, but I still found it very interesting. There will be content warnings included below, of course!

I really loved Furlong too 😳

3.5 out of 5 stars for me, thank you ✨

A wonderful story about being human and a powerful critique to the hypocrisy of those who believe being good comes from being religious. Also, a hopeful reminder that we should help when we can.

Already he could feel a world of trouble waiting for him behind the next door, but the worst that could have happened was also already behind him; the thing not done, which could have been - which he would have to live with for the rest of his life.
