This was a decent story, but I'm just not a fan of insta-love, and some of the lines were cheesy.

Short story where Stuart meets Tom, they are attracted, part and get back together!
There’s a bit more to it than that - when they meet there is a spark of attraction but Stuart is cautious, he is 20yrs older than Tom. He is the one advising caution, and it does work as Tom is even more sure after 2 weeks apart!
I didn’t feel the age difference was a big issue. I was more peeved about the continual theme at the start of how old Stuart was, only to find he is 47, not old at all!!

This was a nice age gap romance, and I could believe their romance. Being a short story, I have no problem with insta-love (I mean, we need to believe it could be real in a very short amount of pages), but they went from "I'm going to change jobs to be close to you" to "dating" to "move in". It was a super fast pace, but again, I could believe it because of the characters and where they were in their lives, and what they wanted from life. I enjoyed this.
