Crazy reveal, absolutely bonkers.

Pride and Prejudice taught me to love literature, but Persuasion cemented Austen in my heart forever.

“Men have had every advantage of us in telling their own story. Education has been theirs in so much higher a degree; the pen has been in their hands. I will not allow books to prove anything.”

My personal favorite of Austen's works. Her prose at its height, she captures the human condition of yearning like none other.

“I hate to hear you talk about all women as if they were fine ladies instead of rational creatures. None of us want to be in calm waters all our lives.”
Another great book by Jane Austen, she is one of my favorite authors and this did not disappoint. I wanted to read this before watching the movie and so glad I did, I highly recommend reading this book.

The ending was quite rushed, as is the case with all of Austen's novels. Great otherwise.

¿Eso era todo?
Otro libro que va a los peores finales que he leído.
No me arrepiento ni lo tomaré como una pérdida de tiempo, pero con esto dejaré de intentarlo con Austen.
