Wish there was a little more mystery earlier in the book other than her being strange and not going out, and I know the ending is meant to be vague but it still annoyed me a bit because I was very confused. I did enjoy reading it though and I liked how you saw the life of this woman through the townspeople’s eyes who don’t know much about her.

short thing I had to read in my ap lit class. I did have to google the meaning of it, but I actually thought the meaning was pretty cool. It was just so short that I couldn't get into it enough.

The book has some structure problems and is very confusing. But once you understand it is a story with good themes about not growing with the times.
