This is the second book I am reading by this author and it never ceases to amaze me that I feel as though I am watching a movie.
This book had in parts that reminded me of Money Heist and Fast and Furious, both of which were action packed and Blacktop Wasteland was no different.
What happens when your back is against the wall - both black and white men faced this in this book, where they both felt there was only one option.
This book left me breathless, heart-striken, and at the edge of my seat at times, but also wanting to know what would happen next. I felt like I was either in the car with Bug or watching this unfold on the big screen.

I just finished Blacktop Wasteland by S.A. Cosby...this is an Excellent noir-crime-fiction...I highly recommend. First, it's rural noir...lot's of action, cars, cars, cars and gritty violence...it's a well told story (plot centers around a heist), solid prose but nothing fancy, and strong realized characters (the lead character, Beauregard, is very cool)...this is probably the best crime-fiction I've read this year... 5.0 outta 5.0 Stars...

This book is PHENOMENAL! It reads like an action packed movie that keeps your heart racing and guessing the entire time. Fingers crossed it gets made into a movie, toes crossed the movie does it justice and tells the story as well as the book.
