Angels have always fascinated me, as a child they were something that comforted me.

My adopted mom took me to church nearly every Sunday, I would listen to the message the pastor delivered, go to Sunday School every time. I would here about angels in various parts of the bible, and would always want to know more about them. I was hungry for more knowledge but, no one could explain them to me.
Psalm 91:11 ESV,

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.

The book is set up into four distinct parts. Part one is about the wisdom of angels. Part two talks about the protection of angels. Part Three is the encoragement of angels. Part four is the presence of angels. I really enjoyed the breakdown of the book because it packs lots of information in.

Ultimately, Jack Graham takes on a topic that at its core is very controversial, then backs it with scripture. He provides evidence to back up the facts, opinions, and ideas that he expresses in this book. This book isn't just an opinion piece, there is weight behind it.

This book is perfect for anyone that is looking to learn more about angels. Anyone who is looking for resources, including pastors or teachers. I hope you will check it out.

`Angels` is a Christian living book written by author Jack Graham. The tagline reads, `Who are they, What do they do, and Why it Matters`. The author's position is that angel's are all around us, we only need eyes to see and hearts eager to receive their assistance. In order to write this book Jack used The Holy Bible as his reference.

I found it interesting that the angels will administer the final judgement. Page 41 says, `They will be the ones separating those who know Christ and those who do not.`

Angels don't know what it is like to be forgiven, angels don't have a plan for Salvation, and they don't understand grace. Their decision either to follow or forsake God was a one time and permanent event. With that said, this book is more about Jesus than angels. Angels are very powerful but must never be worshiped (pg# 60). They are here to minister, protect, and comfort us.

There have been many times in my life when I knew an angel was ministering to me. I could feel the power of the comforting angels at those times.

If the reader enjoyed this book you may also enjoy James McDonald's book Always True.
