Never read something by atwood that doesn't leave me feeling empty in the best way

This collection of weird short stories had some hits and misses for me. I enjoy Margaret Atwood’s writing but this collection was mostly lacklustre rambles for me. Solid read but I wouldn’t read it again.

27 short pieces on everything. Brilliant. And in so few words.

this is my second Atwood collection after 'murder in the dark' and I enjoyed this one a lot more. She does anger, the human condition (especially relating to women) and retellings really well in this.

Perfect little short stories and odd bits. Clever, witty, and thought-provoking.
