Schon der Klapptext hat mich gefesselt.
Elena wieder menschlicher?

What to say, what to say? 4,5 stars.
If you like this series, of course you have to read it. As important as all Raphael and Elena’s books.
I loved and also hated this book a little bit. But mostly loved it. And want to read it again right away - as I usually do. But... a cliffhanger, really?!?
Yeah, yeah, it was pretty obvious not everything was going to be solved at the end of it - it never is with this series. But now I have to wait at least another YEAR?!? Again?!? I’m definitely impressed with how Nalini’s mind works.

Series: Guild Hunter #11
Rating: 4 stars - It was really good
Elena and Raphael are dealing with a new problem, an eons old prophecy that calls for Elena’s death. As they race to deal with it, Elena also finds herself on the hunt for a killer who has targeted her sister’s family.
This book was nonstop. So much happened and it was all very emotional. These two have dealt with so much in this series but this prophecy really tops them all. Elena really shows how strong of a woman she is in this one. She is slowly withering away and yet is determined to finish her hunt to stop a killer.
Raphael is struggling to deal with the changes in Elena and is feeling helpless. The emotional turmoil that Raphael is feeling in this book is very powerful and it made me really like him for a change. He is a character that I waffle on throughout this series because he usually is very serious.
The ending of this book was so crazy and unexpected. I wasn’t expecting a cliffhanger like that and I am really glad I am catching up on this series late because I would have gone crazy if I had to wait for a whole year to find out what happened next. I am totally jumping right into the next book and I hope it is just as good, and action packed, as this one was.

Wow, this series has spanned what? 11 books and is still going strong. I remember picking up the first book, Angels' Blood not expecting much and then loving this series as one of those worlds I want to live in.
It is nice to come back to Elena and Raphael seeing as how they are the og couple. They were have come far. And look at that gorgeous cover!
I love how NS brings back old characters such as the Seven, she even mentions Nazarach, Andreas, Nimra and Jessamy comes to Manhatten. There are new characters introduced too. There are so many plots happening in this book, I am not sure how NS keeps up. There is so much more to this world.
It was sad and not easy to see Elena becoming weaker and sicker. Being someone with a chronic illness, it would suck to be normal and suddenly your whole body starts to fail you. I liked how Raphael has changed and progressed over the many books to compromise with his partner.
I have always been jelly of Elena and Raphael plus the tight knot family and friendship group they have. Anyone would love to have such loyal and true friends. Their romance is super sweet for being one of the oldest couples in the series. I love the way they just get each other and are in sync. Elena always lends humour to Raphael.
At times, I enjoy how Elena is her own woman and has other ventures besides being a guild hunter and consort like the blood cafe business.
But I wonder if she can get things done so easily if she were not an angel or Consort. She literally pays off or conpensates people and most of them differ to her because of her relationship to Raphael. I mean she definitely is kind and retains her humanity which angelkind is fascinated by. But I think NS plays her up to much. Making thousand year old angels feel alive again? Attracting these ancient beings to New York. Okay....
Them being Aeclari is mysterious. What is that? NS has so much diversity in her books even from the beginning. She has characters of mixed races, Chinese, Indian, Middle Eastern and includes cultural touches that make the story more rich. I liked how she made some angels handicapable and telling that even those who seem immortal and unbreakable are abit human with their limitations.
The writing was great as always. This series can be quite intimidating at times because it just sucks you in and uou do not want to leave.
I was frantically reading the last few pages and that ending made me upset! Now I have to wait for the next book because it is a cliffhanger.

Archangel's Prophecy, is book 11 in Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series and it is full of what I've love about her books; drama, family, chaos, amazingly strong female characters and sexy Alpha males.
All I can says is I loved it but Nalini Singh is MEAN because now we have to wait on pins and needles for the next one.
Cliffhangers are mean when I have to wait a year
5 stars
