I listened to this one and the narrators were great, especially the one for Marcellus. This was a very sweet story about grief and how we move forward through it.

Great fiction read. Remarkably Bright Creatures does what everyone thought The People We Keep would do, exploring found family and the messiness of being a human (but this time, there are no teenagers dating adults, or terrible characters that never learn a lesson!) I really liked this book. It was silly and predictable at times, but overall I would recommend.

Beautiful story from beginning to end. I could have devoured a dozen more chapters of Marcellus’s point of view, but that’s less a critique and more a recognition of the sweet feeling of being left wanting more.

Some of my favorite moments: Ethan’s crush in its entirety; Marcellus giving Tova the key; Marcellus’ commentary towards the end, the “cut the shit” moment; Cameron and Tova’s relationship; Tova releasing Marcellus at the end.
