It's a Hallmark Romance, how bad could it be? If you can't stomach the romances on the Hallmark Channel, this is not for you; if you like them, it's right up your alley.

All the cuteness and warmth of a Hallmark movie. Filled the need for a quick and light read between a few big books on my list. It was appropriately predictable for the genre, but lacked significantly in engaging supporting characters.

A sweet Christmas romance, this is a Hallmark publishing book so everyone can guess about how it goes. It was a good read for the season that was enjoyable, but predictable. After a while one of the main characters Wes' inner dialogue got overly repetative to me, but overall still an enjoyable read.

I love Christmas novel and this was a perfect Christmas novel: great plot and characters, sweet story and the perfect atmosphere.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

I am a sucker for small-town Christmas romances. While I liked the premise of this story and the characters were fine, I was hoping for a little more oomph in the book. All characters were assumed to be white, which continues to be a problem in the Hallmark movie and book world. I needed the hero and heroine to have more internal conflict, without that the romance fell flat.

I think this book is going to have a market, but I would love to see Hallmark capitalize on their success by pushing past the assumed white, small-town romance and create characters with more depth and complications.
