I bought this on Audible years ago and had never read it. I'm sorry I waited! This was a good read, a compelling story line that just speeds along. Unfortunately I had the abridged Audible version, and it was a hack job. A couple times there were some plot points introduced pretty abruptly. Not the fault of the author, this is a ripping good tale.

Surprising ending. I liked the twist and didn't expect it.

The French film version of this book is also amazing; I actually saw that several years ago before randomly happening upon the book. A book thats nearly impossible to put down, then lingers in your mind for several days. A must read for anyone who likes suspense

This novel is a mystery-thriller with twists and turns in nearly every chapter. If I had to compare this to another book, it would be The DaVinci code because of the interconnectedness of characters and events. The plot moves quickly and I could not put the book down. (I read it in only two sittings.)

At once unrealistic and totally predictable. Characters are cliched and even *speak* in cliches and then address the reader saying they *know* it's cliche? give me a fucking break...

This book was awful from start to finish. Contrived, poorly written, with no knowledge of either NYC geography or a woman's physique (a character who is 5'7" and 97lbs? really? that's beyond even the most anorexic of supermodels)

horrible horrible horrible book...If you like suspense, there are far better books you could read. Don't waste your time with this crap
