I first read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as a child, but I never finished the series. So, I decided to remedy that by listening to it all on audiobook this year (in published order) starting with a revisit to the first book. Surprisingly, I remembered the majority of the story. A little fuzzy on some of the details, but the major points have become a permanent part of my memory.

I did not read this book until I was an adult. It was wonderful. A wonderful story with fantastic mythical creatures in a magical world. I wish I knew about this book when I was a child.

I don’t know that I ever read this when I was younger. I actually enjoyed having the visuals of the (imo well done) movie in my head as I was listening to the book.
