I received this book in a book exchange this summer and read it as part of a challenge to clear my shelf. I probably would have enjoyed it as a teenager but as an adult it was hard to get past the amateurish writing style. Also, the main character, Amy, was almost unbelievably stupid. The book also had so many editing mistakes with constant misuse of verb tense and pronouns. The only takeaway from this was a reminder of how hard it can be for young adults who do not have a supportive family when starting out in the world.
