perfect set up with the isolated setting and mysterious themes, but not the best execution.

It took awhile for this to pick up the pace and once it did, I was definitely interested.

Bee and Travis had magical abilities (hearing baby’s heartbeats and other unheard sounds, and seeing others’ memories when touching objects) so this made the very real ending seem juxtaposed with the rest of the story.

Definitely an interesting read and loved all the detail of the woods.
