It's a good thing that they put these three books into a bind-up, cause I'll tell you right now, I wouldn't have bought the other two based off of the first one. It was definitely a slow start and I gave the first book a 2/5 star rating. I just couldn't handle the sappy romance between Tristan and Ivy. This is why I don't like reading contemporary. :P

The second book I gave a 4/5 along with the third one. The mystery aspect of this book was really epic. There was a lot more danger and suspense in the last two as well and they had me on the edge of my seat for basically the whole book!

Well done Chandler. Overall, 4/5 stars. Even though it evens out to 3.5 or something...

Writing was terrible

Good plot and good potential, but didn't like the writing style

Suspenseful

Why, oh why, did so many writers of the 90's thought it was a good idea to start the story with a flash forward? It kills the tension! It's a terrible strategy. I don't want to spend XYZ amount of time reading about the handsome popular jock trying to catch the eye of the one girl in school who doesn't know he exists, when I already know that they are going to get together and then get in a car crash where he'll die.

Classic cliche fantasy romance with an innocent girl who is not like they other girls but the guy is actually decent. All characters are one dimensionnel. The rereading was sad but not disppointing. I expected not ton like anymore but I really don't remember why i SOBBED my life at 10 years old. Wasn't worth it

Amazing all three books are in this one and it seems like a long read but its really not, fell in love in just the first couple of chapters!!!

Kissed by an Angel was an okay read. The writing style wasn't anything near amazing but it was decent.
The characters were okay. For me, Ivy and Gregory's relationship got kind of weird and awkward to read.
The plot throughout the book was interesting but it didn't make me want to read and find out what happens. I kept putting it down.
I really like the concept of angels are in this book. I was interesting to find out what angels could do and how people who are a live can see them or be effected by them.
Overall, it was a decent read. I would probably recommend it to people how like reading different stories about angels.
