This book contains three novels in it, but it doesn’t feel like three different novels, but just a continuation of the story as if it were the next chapter. Ivy met Tristan. They fell in love. But Tristan dies, now he’s come back as an angel to try and help Ivy through, and to figure out the reason for his death. Though the story reads like it was written by a teenager, and the story didn’t have anything new or different to add to make it stand out, you kept reading it because as stupid as it was, you wanted to figure out who it was, and once you knew, you wanted to know how the person was going to be punished. As much as the writing sucked, the suspense was held up pretty well.
Opinion of 16 year old female bookworm:
I thought the start of this book was adorable, but then it got so depressing. I cried through a ton of it! The last book in here was not only scary and spooky (it was a mystery) but just depressing! All in all the plot was genius, the writing was wonderful, but it was just such a weird yet great book I don't know what to say!

My review if Kissed by an Angel:
Don't waste your time. There's not enough time in the world to waste it on bad books (I think someone said that).
I think that Kissed by an Angel had a good idea. Perfect for a young adult novel. But it didn't live up to it.
In the first book, I felt like there wasn't enough time to see Ivy and Tristan together. I wanted sweep me off my feet tortured romance! Even if it is a little corny at times (which YA romance novels often are).
But it wasn't.
The dialogue was extremely corny and full of cliche's. The narrative itself was rather weak and even more corny. And it wasn't that good! The only character I liked was Lacey! How can you not like Lacey!? She's the only half-funny character in the book! You want to like the other characters. I kind of liked Tristan when he wasn't being all "I need to tell Ivy this and that and ohmygodIloveIvysomuch."
But I really didn't.
I thought that the story could be better. I thought that the writing could be better. I thought that those heart breaking scenes which you are dying to get a hold of could have been better.
But they weren't.
I was hoping that this book would be good. I really was. It has been sitting on my shelf for three years. But it wasn't.
So, don't waste your time.

I really, really liked this book! It was a little different but still super sweet. I absolutely loved Tristan <3
Mine and my mom's favorite series that we have read together!
This book deeply touched me. It's about a girl named Ivy who loses her boyfriend Tristan (this is all on the blurb, don't worry) and follows her journey of grief, moving on but it seems he has no completely left her side. FIlled with grief will she see him before she herself is in danger? SLightly cliche but I loved it, must-read! Everyone I know who has read it has sobbed, including me, it takes a great book to move me in such a way. My fondness of this book is also shown by the fact that the spine of my paperback is ruined, and I don't mind...
