I loved this book and I cried. Although some of it was majorly confusing... I love the idea of angels and Elizabeth Chandler really added her own element into this idea. Well worth the read.

I loved this book! I was drawn in so deep I could not put it down!

I'm rating it 3 stars because I read it like 10 years ago and I remember it being exciting, but I don't think this would be my thing as of now

What I think I love about this book is the element of mystery. In a lot of books the reader can often work out who the "bad guy" is fairly quickly, but Chandler introduces so many characters with so many personalities that a number of them turn into suspects at one point or another. I also like the way that each event ties in with the next. I'll try not to spoil the book for anyone but one personal favourite part of mine was the "What happens to Ella will happen to you" message. A thrilling read!

Every once in a while a good sentimental book is something I crave. It’s not very often, and it’s usually only in short, small doses. I rarely have high expectations for these sorts of books, and try not to judge them as more than they are - brief escapes. So when I read J.Kaye’s review of Kissed by an Angel by Elizabeth Chandler, which is a collection of 3 books which were once published separately, it seemed to fit the bill perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised to find more than just sappy sentimentalism and cliche teenage death tropes. There’s a bit of mystery and intrigue here, and just enough action and suspense to elevate this book beyond my initial meager expectations. Even the angel themes, which are usually quite hard for me to stomach, are well-done and not too overwrought.
In short, this is a nice way to spend an afternoon. Nothing too deep, but not too shallow either.

Terrible. It really took so much for me to finish this book. First of all, the protagonist, Ivy, was boring and the "innocent"-type character gone so wrong. Second of all, the main guy who you are supposed to root for is slightly stalker-ish, yet the author tries to make his actions completely normal. No. He's a stalker. Third of all, I had to constantly make sure I didn't get the abridged version, because the transition from scene to scene was clunky and made little sense. Fourth of all she would change PoV's in the same scene without transition, which made everything very odd and confusing. However, I gave this book even 1 star instead of 0 because I really like her covers.

Cute and sweet. Pretty light for a book about angels and death.

I thought it was cute but the writing seemed pretty light and young. I'm interested to see if it changes as you get farther in the series.
