"i cannot imagine who she would have become, but i think she would have been extraordinary" oh my god this book exists purely to make me sad, it's like a rogue one fic but it doesn't give me canon rebelcaptain (or does it ????)
Perfect. One of the most beautiful things I've ever read :')
4/5 stars
Everything about Rogue One makes it so distinct and unique in the Star Wars universe. Characters, narrative, everything. I honestly think it's my favourite Star Wars film, and this book only made my love for it grow. Really recommend this book, and the film- just be prepared to cry.

I'm not sure if I can adequately explain what exactly prevented me from giving this book a fifth star. It wasn't badly-written, but I just feel like I enjoyed the movie more. The book offered some extra details and character monologues that -- obviously -- couldn't be included in the movie, which was kind of neat. But while interesting, I felt like that took away from the pace of the story.
Still, it was a fun, relaxing read. I'm craving to see the movie again now.

Rarely does a movie novelization ever enhance my appreciation of a film, but dear gods this one did.
It brought deeper meaning to a movie I was already head over heels in love with, and I'm so so glad I read this!
