I appreciate that this novel was quick and easy to read. However, it was very bland in many places. I initially walked into this novel due to a reading challenge, and anyone whose anyone who knows that in the Back to the Future Films Jules Verne was a massive influence on Doc (especially in the 3rd film). However, as exciting as it would be to travel the world in such a short amount of time, the author did a poor attempt (in my most humble opinion).
