Contrary to what I usually do I watched the show and then read the book....and enjoyed both just the same.
It's not the actual historical events that are portrayed here, but that is not the goal of Bridgerton - and kudos to whoever decided on that Lady W. Disclaimer, that was brilliant.
With that being said this is, in my opinion of someone who usually is disappointed in interpretations of historical facts, a beautifully well told love story (for the ages) that I think honors the actual real Queen Charlotte and King George.
My one dislike - this should have been released earlier to allow people to be prepared for the show and for the actual book to be properly enjoy (there are a few minor differences between book and show btw).
Other than that, it's pretty freakin good :)

Happy Readings!

Very similar reading style to the other Bridgerton stories. I definitely enjoyed reading this but just not a favorite of the others I’ve already read in the series.

Cute. Maybe I'll watch the show? Didn't care for the side plots though...

Shonda Rhimes as coauthor really makes the Bridgerton books better. Still embarassing but here we are.
