The way this book broke me just as much as the show did. I am embarrassed to say that i Love King George III and Queen Charlotte as an american bc of this book, but it must be said, they deserve everything.

I would most definitely say this book was perfect, however i do believe if they had added one or two POVs from Reynolds it would’ve made it even better, but otherwise i love all of them.

to conclude i must urge you all to read this absolutely heart shattering piece of literature, and i must beg of you to not disturb me as i rewatch Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, bc i am what? sick. this is my new favorite show and if you have anything to say about it don’t <3

anywho watch the show and read the book <3

Just as amazing as the series! I loved it.

Beautiful, I love how we get to see glimpses into how Charlotte and Lady Danbury had come to be in the Bridgerton series. They play a huge role in the society and how its a world run by men. They are strong women who show that a women can fight for her place in a high ranking society.

Loved the Netflix series, loved the book.

I will say, It is exactly the same as the show so, if you’ve just watched it maybe take a month or so between the two. Or don’t, I am on my fourth rewatch of the entire series because I love it!

I loved, loved, loved this series, and this book does not disappoint, although eagle-eyed readers will notice a few departures from the story as presented on Netflix.

They add to the story, as do the internalized thoughts of the characters. If you're a reader who also loved the series, the book is worth a read.

Didn’t feel like Julia Quinn at all. Also not particularly romantic or fun. Too many POV characters for a romance novel, and none of the characters were well developed.

The fact that I’ve never watched the show(s) and yet this still got such an amazing rating from me??? Literally rip my heart out, the last two sentences knocked me out y’all

This is probably my favorite out of all the Bridgerton books. The characters are so rich and I love the strong female characters. Charlotte is so strong standing up not only for her husband but also in stepping into her role as queen when he can no longer do his duty as queen. Their love story is so sweet showing that love really can conquer anything. I also loved Agatha in that she stood up for what she knew needed to be done for her family against tremendous odds. I admire how she decided to stay single and stand on her own two feet in a time that it was not common for a woman to do so. She didn't take the easy way out but instead chose to build a life for herself. I would highly recommend this one.
