I LOVED the show and thought I couldn’t love the book even more but boy I do. The thing I love most about books is yours reading the inner monologue of the characters. Their thoughts and feelings, it added so much weight having George, Charlotte, Agatha and Brimsleys.
Just fell flat for me, I can't even get through the season on Netflix. I think because it is a fictionalised version of real people that just didn't grab me.
Sorrows, sorrows, prayers.
Again, once I know there is a show or movie, I HAVE to read the book first. This book did not disappoint, so I’m sure the show won’t either ❤️

“You did not go over the wall,” he said. She smiled. “No George. I did not go over the wall.”
All I can say is… Beautiful love story. Very much like the series. Well written.

Technically a 4.5 star rating. I absolutely adore the tv show and the book follows it exactly! Having all the characters direct thoughts was refreshing since we don’t know *exactly* what they’re thinking in the show, but I was hoping for a bit of expansion for the world and relationships, which knocks off that half star. I still love love love this story, though and I’ll be thinking about it for a long time. Highly recommend if you liked the show. Now, we can only hope they give us another season and maybe more books on the characters in this story! George and Charlotte are my favorite Bridgerton romance!
