Out of the series I've liked this one the least. Still a good read but I just didn't love the plot and couldn't find myself to care about most of the characters. The only character I really enjoyed reading about was Elaine, I'm usually more invested in the other characters.

Continuing on with my read through the ACOTAR series for the first time, and I have finally finished A Court of Frost and Starlight. I really enjoyed the time with everyone, and celebrating the solstice. There were many interesting elements, that read like a drama. I had a good time while I was reading this one, but when I put it down I was never in a rush to get back to it. I’m hopeful that the next book will be more exciting and hold my attention. Although I won’t be jumping into it right away.

This was a really nice change of pace from the heaviness of ACOWAR. I think it receives unfair criticism for being so lighthearted but I think that this book will be a big help in understanding the next books coming from Sarah J. Maas
